PAST TOURNAMENTS - SEEDING AND REGULAR SEASON

First 2 tournaments were seeding tournaments designed to develop our ladder ranking. The first regular season tournament was put into a ladder. Teams that went 2-0 moved up into bottom of the next highest rung. Teams that went 1-1, stayed. Teams going 0-2 dropped to top of next lowest rung. During the season we would allow teams not signed up for the whole season to join a single tournament. We would try to place them appropriately within the ladder so that they would have a competitive match. This is good for all of our teams. To put a new team that is talented at the bottom would create an imbalance and possible blowouts. These teams did not affect the ladder. This is a system that the USAV Region uses for all of it’s tournaments.
